SAN DIEGO – A police officer told on Sunday that 7 motorists were taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol in or near an overnight driver’s license/sobriety checkpoint in the Pacific Beach section of San Diego.
According to San Diego police officer, Mark McCullough, 8 vehicles were also seized during the checkpoint in the 2600 block of Ingraham Street that started at 11:09 p.m. on Saturday and ended on Sunday at 3 a.m.
He also told that 746 vehicles passed through the checkpoint from which 585 were screened by officers.
