LOS ANGELES – On Sunday 14th April, Kevin Hart was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 4:30 a.m. He was driving his black Mercedes at over 90 mph and his car nearly collided with a gas tanker on a Southern California freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol Officer Ed Jacobs, Hart was pulled over on Highway 101 in Los Angeles. He appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and failed the field sobriety test. He was arrested for DUI and held at a Van Nuys jail.

Hart was released Sunday afternoon after paying a $5,000 bond.
There was a female passenger in Hart’s car when the accident happened; she was sent home in a taxi.

After his release, Hart tweeted about his experience and made a joke of the matter saying that he spent six hours in jail because he was pulled over by a “dick head cop”.
