Drunken Driver faces worst Valentine’s Day Gift

According to prosecutors, Jordyn Beebe of San Francisco is facing drunken driving charges as she was the passenger of the 1984 BMW that crashed near City College of San Francisco last month.

The court records show that the accident happened because Beebe was drunk. She was sitting on the front passenger seat and during an argument with her boyfriend about the way he was driving, she took command of the steering of the car and due to this, the car crashed on Ocean Avenue near Howth Street. The crash happened on 26th of January at 2 a.m. Beebe was continuously arguing with her boyfriend, so he took his hands off the steering wheel and said, “You drive.” she grabbed the steering, the car got of control, struck a curb and flipped over.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Jordyn Beebe, 23, was under the influence of an intoxicant. Even though she was not driving the car, the crash was caused due to her mistake, so Beebe was charged with OWI.

Assistant District Attorney Alex Bastian told that the District Attorney’s Office has charged Beebe with OWI, being an unlicensed driver, reckless driving and failure to provide proof of insurance. She has no previous criminal record.

Beebe pleaded not guilty to four misdemeanor charges on Valentine’s Day. Her attorney appeared in the court on Thursday and entered her plea of not guilty.
