Napa woman arrested for 6th DUI

A Napa woman was arrested by a California Highway Patrol officer on suspicion of drunk driving.

Ixchel Susan Rollins, 45, was driving a BMW on Highway 101 in Petaluma on Friday. According to the Santa Rosa Democrat reports, she was arrested at 2:15 a.m.

Marcus Hawkins, a California Highway Patrol officer, told that field sobriety tests were conducted and Rollins failed in them. She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license.

Records show that Rollins was convicted for DUI in 1991, 2000, 2006 and 2007. She was locked up in Sonoma County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail, according to the California Highway Patrol officer.

She was summoned in court on Wednesday.

My name is Aaron Bortel. I practice in the state of California. I primarily handle DUI law and criminal defense. I’ve been practicing for a little more than 20 years. We review about 100 DUI cases every month. We might end up handling 30 or 40 of those DUI cases. If you do the math on that, that’s about 360 to about 400 plus cases that we may represent within that year.
