SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – A former member of the so-called Billionaire Boys Club who spent time behind bars after being convicted of killing his father is wanted by authorities for a San Francisco hit-and-run accident that killed a pedestrian while driving a taxi on 11th of August 2012.
Authorities have asked the public for help in tracking down 52-year-old Reza Eslaminia and an arrest warrant for him was issued on 29th of March. Eslaminia is wanted on misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.

Last year, an accident was caused by him in which 39-year-old Capalla died. He sped through a red light and was hit by another vehicle.

After the collision, his taxi spin out of control and hit Capalla in a crosswalk. He is accused of hitting and running.
Eslaminia was convicted in the 1984 kidnapping and murder of his father, Hedayat Eslaminia.

The killing was described as a botched extortion scheme by the prosecutors.
San Francisco District Attorney George Gascón said, “I want to ensure Mr. Eslaminia is quickly brought to justice and is held accountable for the death of Mr. Capalla. Eslaminia has shown a complete disregard for the lives of others and I consider him to be dangerous”. He also said, “This case illustrates the dangers in our streets when drivers don’t obey the rules of the road”.
