The San Jose Police Department and Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office have both received state grants by the California Office of Traffic Safety to fight Drunk Driving. John Becerra, 33, from San Francisco, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving by the Tracy police on the 400 block of Toni Court, after a vehicle chase Friday afternoon. Opening statements for the trial of Frederick Dozier Jr. could begin as early as Wednesday this week. Dozier is being charged with raping, beating and robbing three women in Mission district last year and could face life in prison. ‘LOST’ star Matthew Fox opened about his DUI sentence in an interview set to air in the U.S. on Wednesday saying that he was happy to take part in an alcohol information program.
